Add a store or correct a listing

Ask Help center to check a missing store, misplaced pin, or permanently closed location.

Choose the request

Open Help center → Chat and say whether a store is missing or an existing pin is in the wrong place. Check map filters and search first so an existing location is not submitted as new.

Start from the affected store

If your version offers a location shortcut on the store page, it opens Help with that exact listing already linked. You can explain what is wrong without finding the store again. If these controls are not available, use Help center → Chat and link the existing store there.

If you have an unfinished message or location review, complete it or use its Retry action first. To leave that conversation, finish it, then tap Start location correction in the card for your selected store. Opening Help does not submit a location request: review the details and tap Submit location when ready.

  1. On iPhone, open the store’s issue-report action, choose It moved, Wrong address, or Pin in the wrong place, and tap Continue in Help. Your optional note comes with you.
  2. On Android, tap Report an issue with this store on the store page, then Fix map location. Older Android versions show Fix map location under Community checks.

Give the details it needs

You can send the business name, street address, city, state, and ZIP together in the Reply box at the bottom of the chat. This continues your location request. Use Finish conversation only when you are done chatting. A public store page or map link is optional. For a mall or shared building, include a suite or entrance landmark if it helps distinguish the store; for a vending machine, include its host store and any machine number you know. You do not need to provide numerical coordinates or be at the store.

For a misplaced pin, check that the exact existing store is linked. The store-page shortcut links it for you. If you started in Help directly, use Link a store in iPhone chat or Fix a pin in Android chat; iPhone also offers Choose the existing store in Review location. A typed name alone does not link the request to that listing. Then check the proposed details.

Report a permanent closure

Start from the affected store or link that exact listing in Help chat. Say that the store has permanently closed and share any public details you know. Keep its existing address so the correct branch can be checked. You do not need replacement coordinates. Review the location details and tap Submit location.

A verified permanent closure removes the store from the active map. A store being closed for the day, temporarily shut, or sold out is different; describe what happened so it can be checked correctly.

Review before submitting

Open Review location to inspect and edit the gathered details. Check the selected listing, full address, state, and ZIP; nearby businesses can share a mall or parking lot. Coordinates and a website are helpful if known, but are not required.

Tap Submit location and wait for the confirmation. A message saying the details are ready is not a submitted request. If the form identifies a missing field, complete that field; if delivery is uncertain, use Retry in the same flow.

What happens next

The business, address, and map position are checked. A verified change can be applied automatically. If the location already exists, the outcome links to it rather than adding a duplicate. A request that needs further checking remains under review. Submission does not guarantee an immediate new pin or a fixed completion time. The store’s details update first; map pins may take a few minutes to refresh.

Adding a location does not confirm stock or create a restock schedule. Use a stock report or the store’s Restock schedule section for those updates. You do not need to prove a restock pattern to request a missing store.

Track the outcome

Find submitted requests in Help center → My locations. You receive an alert when the request is successfully submitted and another update when its outcome is available. Phone push delivery still depends on notification permission and your preferences.

If the outcome requests more evidence, start a new Help conversation and identify the existing location and earlier request. There is no promise that typing another chat message edits an already-submitted request.

Still need a hand? Open the ? on the map for in-app help, or contact support.
