Track a submitted location request

Use My locations and your alerts to tell a submitted request from a completed change.

Submitted means received

A successful submission confirms that the request has been recorded. It does not by itself mean the store has been added or the pin has moved. Wait for the stated outcome before assuming the directory changed.

Follow My locations

Open Help center → My locations for your request history and details. A request can be checking, awaiting further review, or resolved. Read its status message for the next step; do not resubmit the same request just because checking takes time.

With the team or Being reviewed means your request needs a closer look. It has not been rejected, and the map has not changed yet. Some requests need additional review even when the business and address are correct. You do not need to submit the same request again.

An alert lets you know when a request moves to further review. The final outcome has its own alert. Phone delivery follows your notification settings; the request history remains in My locations.

Once submitted, a location request continues even if you hide the chat or quit the app. Only the unfinished conversation is canceled on quit; you do not need to leave the app open for a submitted request to be checked.

If a verification is interrupted, the saved request can be retried automatically. You do not need to keep chat open or submit it again. If it still cannot be completed, it moves to further review and you receive an update.

When a change is complete

Open the outcome alert or request detail to find the affected location. Its details can update before the map’s directory refresh, which can take several minutes. Reopen or refresh the map and check your active filters.

If the corrected result is still wrong, start a new Help conversation explaining the remaining issue and identify the existing listing. Do not create another missing-store request for a store that was already added.

For a confirmed permanent closure, the outcome explains that the store was removed from the active map; it does not add a replacement store.

When it cannot be confirmed

Insufficient or conflicting information can leave a request unresolved or result in no change. More precise public evidence, such as a current business page with the full address, is more useful than repeatedly making the same assertion.
