Help & improvements
Read updates and install the latest build
Use What’s New for user-facing changes and follow your platform’s update link.
Read the changes
Open Settings → What’s New to see recent improvements. After an update, What’s New opens once on its own, marks notes you haven’t read as NEW, and plays short demos. Your device shows updates for its platform and improvements shared by both apps. Android-only updates do not appear on iPhone, and iPhone-only updates do not appear on Android. If an update is available for your device, an update pill appears on the map.
Install through the right channel
iPhone beta builds update through TestFlight. Android beta builds update through Google Play using the Google account approved for the test. Follow the update action for your device; updating one device does not update your other devices.
Got an announcement but no update button?
An announcement does not always mean you need to install something: some improvements are shared service changes, and your phone may already have updated automatically.
On Android, open Drop Radar’s listing in Google Play with your approved Google account and tap Update if it is offered. On iPhone, check Drop Radar in TestFlight. If an expected update is missing, check your installed build in Settings and include it when contacting support.
If an update is required
A required-update screen means that build is too old to continue normally. Install the offered compatible version, then reopen Drop Radar. If the store or testing service does not show the update, check that you are using the invited platform account and contact support with your version.
Find your version
The version/build is shown in Settings or About. Include it when reporting a problem because behavior can differ between builds.
Still need a hand? Open the ? on the map for in-app help, or contact support.
