Check in and comment at an event

On versions with event pins, open the event and tap Check in while it is happening. Enable precise location and be within 250 meters of the venue. If your location cannot be verified, move to a clearer spot near the entrance and try again.

You can check in once per event. Returning or retrying does not add another check-in. The public count adds community confirmation; it is not a guarantee of stock, entry or unchanged event details. Other members do not see your precise check-in location.

Open the event’s conversation, write a useful comment and tap Post comment. New comments wait for moderation before becoming public. Keep comments welcoming and about the event. You can delete your own comment.

If a connection drops before confirmation, use Retry comment instead of creating another. Verify the date, time and location with the organizer before making the trip, even when an event has check-ins.
