Find out why you received an alert

Use Why did I get this alert? from an eligible drop notification’s inbox menu. The explanation describes the matching rule or watch that caused that alert.

Adjust the current rule, pause or stop a matching watch, or open notification settings. Pausing a whole-store watch keeps it saved; stopping it removes it from My Stores. Another matching watch or rule may still send notifications.

If a rule or watch has since been removed, the explanation can still describe why the old alert was sent. Current rule settings may differ from the settings that triggered it. Older alerts may not have a recorded explanation; the app should not invent one.
