Build your collector avatar

Open Avatar from Customize in Profile or Settings → Avatar and style. Start from a ready-made look (on iPhone, Looks at the top of the editor; on Android, Ready-made looks in Character), or build your own: Character holds the characters, plain shapes and body and accent colors, then Face, Style and Extras. Avatars are original built characters rather than profile photo uploads.

Try shapes, colors, finishes, eyes, expressions, and accessories from the available choices. Check the portrait or card preview and the smaller feed-size preview so the result works where people will see it.

Colors affect their matching part: choose headwear to see Hat color, and remember that opaque eyewear can cover Eye color. Check the preview as you change each part.

Switching from a character to a plain shape keeps everything else. If the character had ears, they come along as matching ear headwear in its body color when you aren’t wearing a hat and those ears are unlocked. Switching back to a character with its own ears removes them, so you never get two pairs. Floppy dog ears have no matching headwear, so they don’t carry over. Each tile previews exactly what a tap gives you, and Undo reverts it.

Undo reverses a choice. Surprise me builds a random look from parts you’ve unlocked; review or undo it before you save. Locked parts can be inspected but must be unlocked before you can equip them; clear locked parts if a draft includes unavailable choices.

On iPhone, Apply look saves from the standalone avatar editor. When editing inside Style studio, Done returns the avatar to your studio draft; use Save changes there to apply it. On Android, use Save changes. Check that saving succeeds before leaving.

Profile banners and titles, Nav forms, and app themes are managed in their own studio areas. An avatar frame may change the portrait’s presentation without changing the character itself.
